Tuesday Fun!

Tuesday Mary came over for a sleep over, we made cupcakes, went to the Car show,and

they watched "Ramona  and Beezus". It was fun. Here are some pic's.

 The girls made cupcakes, but they looked a lot better in the picture of the recipe book. They didn't turn out so great.....

Summer Fun!!!

  This week is really HOT! 95* - 100*. Our friends the Floyd's invited us to swim at there pool. The Floyd's live close to an ice cream store, so we walked and got some Ice Cream. That was a bad idea! It was very hot!!!After we  got ice cream, we came back and  swam. It was a lot of fun!!!

Happy Father's Day

  Papa ready to open his presents we got him.

 Theo gave Papa Air Soft Gun Pellets.   

 Marty's gift was Golfing shorts.

 Sarah gave him a T-shirt, and

Amy gave him a purple Golfing shirt to go with the shorts :)

Happy Father's Day!

Build it yourself Cube

We made a cube ottoman for our sun room. 

The colors of the fabric needed to go with the colors of the sun room colors. 

So we picked out this fabric. We will be making another one to match it.

We bought the batting and the foam at Jo-Ann's.

 Then we painted the end of the legs and the rim of the cube.

 The square shape that goes around the cube.

 Putting it on the cube, with out the top.

 Now we have to put the top on, just making sure it fits.

 To hold the fabric, we used the staple gun.

 All finished!!!!

Perfect, looks store bought!

We are so happy to have a cube ottoman! We will be using it everyday!



Piano Recital

The boys had thier piano recital last Saturday. They both did great.

Go Fish!

Today we went to the pond store and got some gold fish for our pond. We got six, so we can all name one.

Papa's- Don't know yet, waiting till he comes home from work.

Mama's- Dorothy, like Elmo's on "Sesame Street".

Amy's- Pebbles, because he looks speckled.

Sarah's- Fireball, he's bright orange!

Theo's- Spark, Theo liked the name.

Marty's- Milk, it's all white with a little orange spot on it's head.

We are so glad that now we can enjoy fish in our pond :)

 Sitting in the water for five Min's, then we had to pour a little pond water in the bag.

 Sunnie checking out the fish, he was very curious.

 We turned off the fountain, then turned it back

on after they got use to the water more.
