Something to ponder.....

Happy Birthday, Meredith!!

We love you!

Something's fixin' to happen in my sewing room...

Watch for progress!

Knitting class pictures

Knitting class has been fun for me, and I think the participants are having fun, too. Mostly, we've enjoyed laughing and talking together.
Knitting and fellowship=good therapy!

Here are the gals who have been knitting with me on Monday nights. Also, see my sister there, in the picture? She was "here" too, and had a lot of fun!
left to right: Monica, Carey, and Paula

The three finished bunnies--aren't they cute?

Here's Paula "Have bunny, will travel!"

I've been trying to load these all day, but Google says "Server Error." Well, at least it's not my error this time! Will try again tomorrow, so stay tuned.

I don't have a good answer...

Tonight was the second night of tears at bedtime from Sarah. Granted, last night she was exhausted, but tonight it was genuine sadness. Through her tears she asked "I don't get it--if Papa says he wants to be with us, and he doesn't want to be away, why did he take this job?" Weeeelllllll.....................

How do I answer in a way that tells a little girl something that makes sense? It wasn't because of money; but more of a security thing. This position is going to be gone in 2 years and we had no idea where we'd end up if we waited here. Also, how do you explain "opportunity" to a nine year old who just wants to be kissed goodnight by her papa every night? This is hard, and it makes me wonder, "Why?" also.

Way to go , Tae Kwon Do!!!

During the test- they have to do the whole form together and separately

Amy receives her gold belt-she's now an eigth gup

Sarah receives her gold belt; she is now an eighth gup, also.

New yellow and gold belts. Notice our friend Owen, in the back row on the left. He earned his yellow belt tonight.

Remember this?

I do, and it makes me weep. Which I've done a lot of this weekend.
