 I found this cool post idea on Pinterest,
so I made one for our front doorstep.

 All done :) I painted the sign white and used a paint marker to write the word.

Our porch is boring-- this helps  out.

 

New Dining Room Benches.

            Mama has been working on making two long benches for our dining room

to go with our new table!

Signs for the Tree House

 Amy and Sarah made signs for the Tree House today, they look very good. :)

 This is Sarah's, it will go on a post on the deck of the tree house.

This is Amy's, she wanted to put it inside the tree house, on the wall.

The boys help to decide the font and what to say.

"New Laundry Basket Holder"

Marty, Theo and Mama made a laundry basket holder today, they did a great job!

Theo and Mama cut boards and Marty and Mama put it together.
Will we probably build another one, and will paint it after we decide what
colors to paint the laundry room.

Thank You guys so much for the Alaska stuff you sent us! We were working on the tree house when the mail came and we were so excited that we opened the box in the tree house :) Theo and Marty just love their knifes, and we are wearing our necklaces!

Grama Cork had an Ulu knife, so Mama is especially happy with her new one!

Marty's B-day

Marty's birthday was Aug 8th. He turned 11 years old.

Marty had a great Birthday, and loved all his gifts!
After he opened presents, we at supper at La-Femmina, it was great food.
We love going there!

Ocean City!

We went to Ocean City for the afternoon when

Aunt Sheila was here. We had lots of fun there!

On the boardwalk

 This is how the boardwalk looks :)

We got these cool soda bottles at the restaurant there.

 

Then we went to the beach, but we didn't swim, just put our feet in and messed around.

   

We went back to the boardwalk and went to "Castaway Cove," the amusement park!

 It was so much fun!

 Amy, Marty, Sarah and Aunt Sheila went on the Roller Coaster "The Python"!

Amy said- "It was so much fun!"

Marty said- "It was fun and scary at the same time."

Sarah said- "I loved it! I wanted to go again!"

Aunt Sheila said- "It was scary, I had my eyes shut the whole time!"

 Aunt Sheila went because Marty needed to go with a grown up, because he wasn't tall enough.

 We went on one other ride, this is a picture of it.

We had a lot of fun at Ocean City!!!

 We love going there, and can't wait till we can go again soon! :)
