Taking the blog plunge

I have been thinking for a long time that a blog would be a good place to journal, since I have so many journals that have gone the way of the "kids' art paper supply." I also thought that I could keep some of my long-lost Iowejun friends up to date on our lives as "Yankees" here in the land of collard greens (aka: North Carolina). We'll see how this goes.
